Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a very specific technique that helps move fluid through your lymphatic system to decrease swelling, inflammation and support immunity. Some indications for MLD are: Sprains, Whiplash, Hematomas, Post-Surgical Edema, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Scleroderma, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus, Migraines, Sinus Headaches, Diabetes, Lymphedema, Lipedema, CRPS, Severe Burns, etc. Manual Lymphatic Drainage can also be helpful pre- and post-op for many surgeries, including cosmetic.

** Please note that if you have acute cellulitis, untreated congestive heart failure, acute DVT or a fever, MLD is contraindicated. Please get approval from you Doctor if you have active cancer or renal dysfunction. I currently do not do CDT or compression bandaging but can re-route lymph flow around blocked areas into healthy lymph vessels.

Our lymphatic system has three main functions: to prevent edema, absorb fats from the small intestine, and support our immune system. If there is any inflammation or swelling in the body, Manual Lymphatic Drainage can help!
